 
                                                
                                            A diverse job role as a Pharmaceutical Process Engineer involves working on various projects within the company. You will work in a complex, locally and globally oriented environment. Organon focuses on high-quality production, packaging, and distribution of pharmaceuticals in a regulated GMP environment. The Pharmaceutical Process Engineer reports to the head of one of the technical sections.
Responsibilities include defining, specifying, and acquiring new production equipment and setting up, executing, and reporting on qualifications for this equipment. You will also introduce new products, materials, or components to production departments, set up, execute, and report on process and cleaning validations, and coordinate research and changes to improve existing facilities and production processes. You will lead or contribute to root cause research following deviations in the production process.
Required education, experience, and skills include a higher professional education in chemical technology, mechanical engineering, or a relevant field, several years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a similar multidisciplinary environment, technical and technological orientation, and experience in preparing protocols, executing and reporting on equipment qualifications, process and cleaning validations. Knowledge of GMP requirements, EHS guidelines, and Lean principles is also necessary. You should be able to maintain an overview, communicate effectively, and inspire others. You are convincing, critical, results-oriented, flexible, and take initiative. Good verbal and written skills in Dutch and English are required.
