Our Beaver Nation, the fundraising and donor engagement arm of Oregon State Athletics, brings people together to create experiences, tell stories, and build community around the impact of college athletics. Through philanthropy, we engage fans, alumni, donors, and friends to support Oregon State student-athletes and help make a difference at Oregon State University. We are seeking two creative, motivated student graphic designers to join our team. These positions will work closely with the Director of Donor Relations and the Director of Annual Giving to support events, donor relations, and annual giving initiatives through high-quality visual storytelling.

Position Duties - Shared Responsibilities (Both Roles) Design print and digital materials that support events, donor communications, and annual giving initiatives. Create projects from concept through final production, including templates and repeatable assets. Develop materials such as: Print pieces, Digital graphics, Social media content, Infographics, Promotional and marketing materials. Ensure all work aligns with: Our Beaver Nation visual identity, Oregon State Athletics brand standards. Collaborate with staff and fellow student designers to meet deadlines and project goals. Manage multiple projects with varying timelines and priorities. Contribute creative ideas and problem-solving approaches to support team objectives. Required Tools / Platforms Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, PowerPoint.
Position Focus Area 1: Graphic Designer – Core Design This role will focus primarily on graphic design and visual layout, supporting a wide range of print and digital needs across the Our Beaver Nation team. Additional Focus Areas Strong layout, typography, and visual hierarchy skills. Template creation for recurring communications and campaigns. Production-ready print and digital deliverables. Supporting brand consistency across multiple donor-facing touchpoints.
Position Focus Area 2: Graphic Designer – Digital Content Creation In addition to the shared responsibilities above, this role will bring expanded skills in digital storytelling to help fill current and future project needs. Additional Responsibilities Capture and edit photography for storytelling: Events, Donor engagement moments, Student-athlete and staff features. Assist with video content, such as: Short-form videos for email and social media, Event recaps, Story-driven digital content. Collaborate on creative concepts that integrate design, photo, and video elements. Support evolving digital engagement strategies through visual content. Preferred Skills Basic video editing experience. Interest in digital storytelling and content trends.

Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study. Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment. Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard. High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program. Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term. Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term. Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term. Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term. International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered "full-time" by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services (OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.
Additional Required Qualifications - Qualifications and Requirements Must be a student at Oregon State University and have a general understanding of office practices. Be able to handle interpersonal relationships maturely, thoughtfully, and empathetically, including the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Working Conditions / Work Schedule - Work Schedule This is a part-time position working up to 20 hours per week with the option to work additional hours during breaks. Work Location The work location for this position is Gill Coliseum.
