Service Offering Manager

The Education Offerings & Customer Success team designs and scales service offerings that enable our education customers to realize value from Autodesk products and platform services. You'll join a globally distributed, collaborative team focused on building repeatable, scalable offerings that meet customers where they are.

At Autodesk, we design experiences that unlock value for our customers. The Service Offering Manager is responsible for defining, designing and operationalizing service offerings that support education customers in their adoption and transformation with Autodesk technology. This role will focus on horizontal offerings and cross-product experiences — particularly services that leverage AI capabilities and platform services — and will require deep understanding of the education landscape (K-12, Vocational, higher education, and alternative academic programs). You will synthesize customer, product and market inputs to create offerings that scale across regions and product portfolios, and you will partner with platform, business models, product, digital experience, sales and education teams to bring these offerings to market. This role is open in NAMER and EMEA and is available as hybrid or remote; the successful candidate will work across geographically diverse teams and time zones.

Responsibilities

Start strong: you will design and launch education-focused, horizontally scoped offerings that connect Autodesk's AI, platform services, and product portfolio to measurable educational outcomes (learning outcomes, adoption, institutional adoption, and curriculum integration).

Design end-to-end services offerings for education customers that span multiple product lines and leverage Autodesk platform services.

Define the expected customer experience, success outcomes and proposed delivery model for each offering, document journey maps, deliverables, templates, business model and pricing considerations.

Partner with Platform & Engineering teams and Product teams to translate capabilities and AI features into deliverable, repeatable services.

Collaborate with Education and Industry teams to ensure offerings meet the needs of instructors, learners, institutions and education buyers.

Define success metrics (e.g., time-to-value, adoption, NPS, license consumption, learning outcomes).

Use customer and stakeholder feedback, market data, and competitive insight to prioritize offering roadmaps and to evolve content, scope and pricing.

Provide program management for offering design, pilot and scale phases; create launch checklists, enablement plans and risk mitigations required for regionally compliant deployments.

Ensure offerings consider privacy, security and ethical use of AI within education contexts, and coordinate with Trust/Privacy teams as required.

Build and maintain relationships with key academic partners, resellers and platform partners to enable broader distribution and co-deliveries.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years relevant experience in Service/Offering Design, Professional Services, Consultancy or Product Management for services.

Demonstrated experience designing and launching professional services or success offerings for enterprise SaaS or platform businesses, ideally with cross-product (horizontal) scope.

Practical experience translating platform capabilities and API products into repeatable service deliverables.

Direct experience or strong domain knowledge of the education sector (K-12, Vocational, Higher Education, academic programs and edtech), including procurement cycles, LMS/platform integration patterns and curriculum needs.

Knowledge of customer journey mapping, experience design and how to operationalize experience across global delivery teams.

Proven ability to work effectively with global and virtual teams and to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Strong program management skills with a track record of launching scalable offerings.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with academic IT systems.

Experience in edtech, academic partnerships, or with institutional procurement and academic licensing models.

Experience with platform engineering teams, API product managers, or developer experience teams.

Previous experience designing services that incorporate AI/ML elements including ethical considerations, data governance, and model monitoring.

Familiarity with education research design or methods to evaluate learning outcomes.

Experience with partner enablement (systems integrators, resellers, academic partners) and GTM motion for professional services.

Advanced degree in education technology, instructional design, product management, business, or related field.

The Ideal Candidate

Collaborative and influential — you build alignment quickly across Product, Platform, Sales, Marketing and Delivery.

Customer-centric — you represent the customer and education buyer in every decision and can translate institutional needs to product and platform requirements.

Data-driven — you define clear success metrics and use data to iterate and prioritize.

Pragmatic and hands-on — you know how to move from strategy to repeatable execution, building documentation and enablement to scale.

Curious about AI and platform technologies — you understand what AI/ML enables (and its limits) and can define responsible, practical uses in the education context.

Passionate about learning — you care about how technology impacts teaching, learning and workforce readiness.
