Responsibilities

This role will work closely with customers to design, develop, and deploy AI applications on our AI Health Data Platform that address critical healthcare challenges across entire health systems. You will drive tangible outcomes through hands-on implementation, rapidly building data pipelines, tools, analytics, and applications across the domains of Population Health, Life Sciences, and Research. You will feedback requirements directly into our product and engineering teams to continuously strengthen the platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in healthcare IT, and a passion for improving healthcare delivery. Join us and help create the future.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with healthcare providers and stakeholders to understand needs and build transformative AI solutions tailored to their environments. Engineer bespoke agentic AI solutions that address complex healthcare workflows, ensuring scalability and impact. Own the entire data configuration and integration lifecycle, from ingestion to deployment, with a focus on seamless interoperability. Proactively remove technical blockers to accelerate progress and ensure smooth project execution. Drive agentic innovation by experimenting with cutting-edge AI approaches and applying them in healthcare contexts. Become a trusted strategic partner to both customers and internal teams by providing deep expertise and clear guidance. Conduct deep-dive technical debugging and root cause analysis to resolve challenges quickly and effectively. Lead rapid prototyping and iteration cycles to validate ideas and deliver value with speed. Implement and enforce engineering best practices to ensure reliability, security, and performance across all deliverables. Design and implement AI-driven analytics tools and applications, building and iterating on data products within a modern cloud platform. Confidently present complex topics and insights to CTO and executive audiences. Continuously learn and work independently across product and engineering teams, making decisions with minimal supervision. Travel up to 25%; hybrid role with 1 day a week in the office.

Required Experience

10+ years of experience in Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science in healthcare. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent relevant experience). Strong engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript. Familiarity with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech), healthcare interoperability standards, and national health data sets. Understanding of parallel healthcare industries such as Pharma, Life Sciences, Population Health, Payer, National Health Systems, or State health programs.

Qualifications

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
