Position Purpose:
The Sales Service Representative is responsible for the field execution of sales and merchandising strategies within our customer's stores. The Sales Service Representative reports directly to the Sales Manager and works alongside the Sales Manager, Sales Representatives and Merchandising Associates facilitating & implementing projects centered around sales growth for our customers. A Sales Service Representative may be either permanent in the position, or a Sales Trainee assigned to the department as part of his/her ongoing sales training program/schedule. This role is a great opportunity for someone to gain necessary sales/merchandising experience to advance and succeed within the selling organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
The role of the Sales Service Representative is to execute retail-level selling/merchandising strategies, implement promotions, execute strategic planogram resets, and ultimately facilitate growth for customers & Core-Mark. Duties include resetting stores, implementing planograms, shelf-tag installation, shelf building/tear down, new/innovation item introductions, execute product merchandising functions for stores, stocking, pricing, rack implementation, stock evaluations, product rotation, place orders, and overall providing customer support to achieve annual selling goals. This individual must possess keen relationship building and customer service qualities and willingness to work in a fast-paced changing retail environment. The Sales Service Representative acts as an extension of the customer's business and will work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Rep positions to ensure general sales functions are achieved.
