Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Administration

  • Manage ServiceNow request and incident queues, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as needed.
  • Maintain ServiceNow problem records and communicate updates and workarounds to customers.
  • Assist users with ServiceNow inquiries and access issues.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base documentation.
  • Administer ServiceNow groups (create, rename, delete).
  • Manage weekly ServiceNow releases and upgrades (after-hours support required).
  • Monitor platform performance and partner with ServiceNow teams for issue resolution.

Reliability Engineering

  • Support production applications and proactively automate solutions to reduce incident recurrence.
  • Improve application availability, latency, performance, efficiency, and monitoring.
  • Conduct technical reliability studies and risk analysis on engineering designs and processes.
  • Recommend design/test methods and statistical process controls to enhance reliability.
  • Analyze failures and propose design or process changes to improve system reliability.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in business and risk analysis, IT service management, production support, product/project management, or application development

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of ServiceNow experience
  • ServiceNow fundamentals certification
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Effective time and priority management
  • Experience with Agile development methodology
  • Working knowledge of ITSM processes (incident, problem, change, knowledge, request)
  • Experience using performance measurement tools
  • Strong leadership, conflict resolution, budgeting, and time management skills
  • Financial services industry experience is a plus

Work Environment and Expectations

Coverage required after 7 PM Central for release deployments (typically Wednesday nights, but also occasional Friday nights or weekend days). Fast-paced production environment with elevated access rights. Must be able to triage incidents and route tickets appropriately across technical and HR domains. Ability to manage a wide scope of responsibilities and multitask effectively.

Location Expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
