Pipe Stress Engineer

We're looking for a Pipe Stress Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. As a Piping Engineer, you will:

• Perform pipe stress analysis and develop AutoPIPE analysis models for piping systems to support the installation of piping systems
• Determine pipe stresses on metal and plastic piping using automated tools and visual analysis
• Generate pipe stress summary deliverables using standard software
• Work with multidiscipline team to plan work and provide design within schedule and budget
• Select pipe supports for metal and plastic piping from catalog supports and designed engineered supports when required
• Work with the piping and structural team members to suggest variations to the piping design to reduce pipe stress loads

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• At least 8 years of experience working on manufacturing projects
• Professional Engineering license preferred
• Semiconductor industry experience preferred
• Experience leading projects preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
