Landfill Operations Supervisor

Supervises daily landfill operations and landfill staff. LOCATION: Arlington, OR - onsite HOURS: 4:30PM - 3:00am | Sunday–Thursday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervises landfill staff and reviews and evaluates work to ensure quality, timeliness and ensures quality control in adherence to policies and procedures.
• Coordinates workflow and assignments toward the achievement of operational goals.
• Supervises and monitors daily landfill operations, and reviews and controls implementation of safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Coordinates repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Collects weekly and/or monthly readings. Creates and submits records and reports.
• Oversees personnel needs of the landfill including coaching, training, and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.

Qualifications:

A. Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D (accredited).
• 1 year to three (3) years of previous relevant experience (in addition to education requirement).

Field: This job operates in both inside gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity.

The expected base pay range for this office/on-site position is $66,000 - $90,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.

Employees will also receive discretionary paid time off, up to 80 hours of paid sick time per year, and 7 paid holidays throughout the calendar year. The Company provides this paid time off to comply with its obligations to provide paid sick and safe time ("PSST") under Washington state law and local ordinances. Additionally, the Company has a leave pay policy that provides for up to 4 weeks of paid leave in a rolling 12-month period for qualifying leave.
