Hr Manager - Moda Center

Working as the HR Manager, your primary focus will be to support the Human Resources function so that it meets both the needs of the business and of our associates. The HR manager will take support all of the following functional areas: associate relations, HR specific training, HR legal requirements and compliance, development and revision of HR policies and procedures, associate engagement survey action plan follow up, performance and merit increase monitoring, hiring non-exempt associates and managing data associated with bonus administration.

Key responsibilities include ensuring a supportive, respectful, and welcoming employee experience, ensuring all Company HR related policies are applied consistently, objectively coaching associates and management through complex and difficult issues, maintaining and coordinating associate recognition programs, ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws, regularly running and/or reviewing HR activity reports, supporting associate engagement survey interpretation/feedback process, attending department manager meetings to increase HR visibility, preparing, coordinating and presenting HR related topics and other HR related training, acting as a diversity champion by leading assigned tasks and corporate diversity activities including diversity recruiting, retention and promotion goals, ensuring all team member information is accurate and up to date within the location HRIS system, and ensuring the timely processing of all unemployment claims.

Qualifications include two plus years human resources generalist experience preferred, intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills; advanced skills preferred, experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community, strong presentation skills required, passion for hospitality, food, and retail, excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication and relationship-building skills, and ability to work an event-based schedule that includes nights and weekends required.
