Primary Purpose: The Redmond Campus Work Study provides a variety of critical supports to faculty, students, and staff on campus. This work includes providing IT support for stream classes, office support, and covering the Student Commons Attendant desk during business hours. These positions provide increased access to student services and an improved student experience on campus.

Must be reliable and punctual.
Excellent customer service: ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and faculty from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to manage conflicts within and/or between groups and to work in a team environment.
Considerable computer and keyboarding ability; adept with software applications/databases, internet usage.
Ability to be accurate and detail oriented.
Ability to remain flexible and do different tasks on a daily basis.
Ability to provide consistent and dependable customer service.
Ability to develop strong working relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds and other aspects of human diversity.
Ability to use software programs and database systems which include Microsoft Office Suite, email, website editing, basic desktop publishing, and modern office equipment.
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. Must be able to bend. Must have physical flexibility and stamina. Regular office hours are established between 8 am – 5 pm during the workweek. Incumbent must be able to function effectively indoors in an office environment engaged in work of primarily a sedentary nature. Requires the ability to work at a workstation for extended periods. Required to write, read written materials and computer screens.

Experience working in front-line, public-facing customer service, preferably in a library, IT or help desk, or retail environment.
