Providence Child Center Linen Duties

The position is solely responsible for linen duties within Environmental Services (EVS) at Providence Child Center. Part-time, Day Schedule (Monday to Wednesday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM). Providence offers a fantastic benefits package which include but are not limited to:

  • Lyra Caregiver Assistance program- Up to 25 counseling or coaching sessions per eligible member per year.
  • Ensures the children and staff have adequate clean linen and personal clothing at all times, meeting all rules and regulations of city, state, and federal regulators of Providence Child Center programs. Employee is responsible for the collection, washing, drying, folding, sorting, and delivering of linen and personal clothing and the delivery and distribution of flatware that is washed by a third party vendor.

    Required Qualifications:

    • In compliance with the Oregon Child Care Division, criminal history registration is required for this position, based on assigned duties upon hire.
    • In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position upon hire.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1 year of experience in a commercial laundry facility, preferably in a hospital, nursing home, or hotel setting.
