Clinical Service Intake Analyst – Remote
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (6 months with potential for extension/conversion) Hourly Rate: based on experience and regional compensation levels
The Clinical Service Intake Analyst serves as the first point of contact for incoming documentation related to Utilization Management, Care Management, Disease Management, and Appeals. This role is responsible for organizing, imaging, and triaging incoming work while ensuring HIPAA and privacy standards are upheld. The analyst uses their knowledge to determine the nature of each inquiry and route it appropriately.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and organize incoming clinical documents from multiple sources.
- Image and upload documents into internal systems.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy standards.
- Triage and assign work based on document type and inquiry nature.
- Evaluate clinical documents and forward to appropriate teams.
- Work independently to meet deadlines and operational standards.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- General office experience plus 1 year in customer service or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Effective communication and basic writing skills.
- General computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet).
- Strong organizational and data entry skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and learn evolving processes.
Work Environment
- Remote: Candidates must reside in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Utah.
- May be required to work weekends; flexible weekday time-off options available.
- Must use company-provided equipment and a hard-wired ISP (Cable Modem, DSL, or Fiber). Satellite or mobile Wi-Fi is not supported.
- Internet speed requirements: Download ≥ 50 Mbps, Upload ≥ 5 Mbps.
- Contractors must be fully dedicated to assigned work during scheduled hours—no outside employment or caregiving activities permitted.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
