The Salvation Army's Christmas fundraising efforts are looking for Kettle Workers to ring bells at assigned locations. The Kettle Worker is the first point of public contact and must exhibit the highest standards of customer service. This role requires a pleasant, outgoing personality, the ability to work flexible hours, and a dependable, safety-conscious attitude. The Kettle Worker must greet and interact with the general public in a courteous and friendly manner. Essential duties include ringing the bell at the appointed kettle stand, responding to the public's questions and requests for information, collecting monetary donations, and maintaining professionalism in all communications. The position requires standing or sitting in one location for extended periods in outdoor weather conditions, working in an environment with frequent interruptions, and dealing with people from diverse backgrounds. The candidate must be able to perform the essential duties with or without accommodation, and regular and punctual attendance is essential.
