Must have or be willing to obtain an Oregon LME (Limited Maintenance Electrical) license. LEB (Limited Energy) license or similar is a plus. Performance bonus will be provided (up to 14%).
As a CBRE Chief Building Engineer Supervisor, you will supervise the team responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing ongoing maintenance and repair operations for a facility, a campus, or a portfolio of buildings. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma. A combination of experience and education will be considered. Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Chief Engineer or job-related experience. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience required. Strong communication and client relations skills. Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrical (LME) license required.
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents. Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
