The EY Quantitative Economics and Statistics (QUEST) practice is an interdisciplinary team that brings together more than 50 economists, statisticians, and business analysts. Our team has developed proprietary tools and a data-driven approach based on a deep understanding of economic and tax data. We model economic impacts, legislative changes, regulatory impacts, tax policy, and conduct surveys.

EY's QUEST practice is seeking an economist to join our team in Washington, D.C. Your key responsibilities will include: quantitatively analyzing and modeling economic, tax, and regulatory policies, constructing economic models, estimating the financial impact of physical and transition climate risks, understanding academic papers, and writing reports that translate technical quantitative analyses to broad audiences.

Qualifications include: a master's or Ph.D. in public policy/economics or other quantitative discipline, a minimum of 3 years of related work experience, excellent analytical skills, strong written and visual communication skills, and technical skills in data processing using both Microsoft Excel and coding languages such as STATA, R, and Python.
