The Vice President (VP) of Product Portfolio Delivery Services is responsible for driving the strategic direction, operational excellence, and delivery of enabling services across Optum Insight's product portfolio. This leader will oversee cross-functional teams that support product launches, client onboarding, and the successful execution and value realization of products, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and client needs.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires within 30 minutes of an office in Minnesota or Washington, D.C., you'll be required to work a minimum of four days per week in-office.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Define and execute the vision and strategy for product portfolio enabling services, ensuring seamless integration with overall business goals.

Product Portfolio Management:

  • Oversee the portfolio operations of a diverse suite of products, ensuring the delivery of enabling services that enhance scalable growth, client value, product performance and operational excellence

Client Implementations:

  • Build process and drive accountability and execution across stakeholders for successful product launch (ie. marketing, sales training, etc)
  • Lead teams responsible for client onboarding and implementation, driving efficient, timely, and successful product delivery to clients
  • Ensure support to clients for optimizing the value of the products
  • Lead end-to-end product delivery services, including client onboarding, implementation, activation, and continuous value realization models
  • Ensure client implementations are efficient, repeatable, scalable, and aligned with product functionality and customer outcomes
  • Drive consistent service delivery models that enhance client satisfaction and accelerate time-to-value

Network Service Operations:

  • Drive services and implementation that provide connectivity across payers, providers, and pharmacies

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Product, Growth, Operations, Finance, Engineering/ Technology, to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives
  • Own partnership with product, growth, and marketing to ensure systematic solution for producing material for growth team based on product and services portfolio

Performance Measurement:

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for enabling services, client implementations, and product programs, driving continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 15+ years of experience in product management, client implementation, program management, or related fields, within a Healthcare and/or HealthTech environment, with at least 5 years in a senior leader role
  • Proven track record of leading large, multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex portfolios
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement business strategies at scale
  • Solid client-facing experience and a commitment to delivering best-in-class solutions
  • Proven communication and presentation skills at both the executive and execution team level
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making capabilities, with a data-driven approach to management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MHA)
  • Located near an office hub in MN, DC, Nashville, Raleigh, NC, or NJ/NY

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $225,000-$375,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
