Lead Voice Bot Developer/Technical Manager - AI/ML Engineering
We are seeking a Lead Developer to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of voice bot solutions tailored to business needs. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on technical expertise, capable of delivering end-to-end solutions in a dynamic, matrixed environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate across engineering and business teams, produce clear technical documentation, and drive innovation throughout the software development lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture: Define and architect comprehensive voice bot solutions, proactively engaging with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Documentation: Produce clear and concise documentation covering backend integrations, business logic, and technical specifications
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with development teams and business stakeholders to communicate design strategies and integration plans
- Technical Design: Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs aligned with architectural standards
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers, promoting engineering best practices and continuous learning
- Software Development Lifecycle: Lead all phases including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Reusable Components: Design and implement reusable frameworks, components, and patterns to enhance team productivity and solution scalability
- Voice Bot Development: Build and deploy voice bots using platforms such as Google Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, or equivalent cloud technologies
- Subject-Matter Expertise: Act as the go-to expert for voice bot development, ensuring adherence to design and implementation best practices
- DevOps Integration: Leverage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform) along with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) to streamline development workflows
- Implementation Support: Provide occasional off-hours support for production deployments (no regular on-call duties)
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or equivalent
- Experience in cloud-based voice bot platforms and Contact Center technologies
- Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and source code repositories
- Proven solid communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
