- As a Senior Privacy Engineer at OpenAI, you will be spearheading privacy projects from concept to implementation, ensuring compliance with global privacy regulations. - You will be responsible for building data access layers that ensure privacy by default and working cross-functionally to ensure platform adoption. - Your role involves advocating for privacy-by-design principles and fostering an environment where privacy and security are everyone's responsibility. - You will serve as a privacy advocate, tasked with educating and influencing stakeholders about the importance of privacy and data protection. - You will need to communicate progress, status, and risks effectively to stakeholders both internally and externally. - The role is based in San Francisco, CA, and follows a hybrid work model with three days in the office per week, with relocation assistance available for new employees. - You will be joining the Applied AI team at OpenAI, which has released products like ChatGPT, DALL·E, and APIs for GPT-4, GPT-3, embeddings, and fine-tuning. - The role requires a commitment to privacy and data protection as you will be delivering AI to millions of people via ChatGPT and the APIs. - You will be expected to ensure the security, reliability, and performance of language, image, video, and audio models while upholding the highest standards of privacy and ethical use of AI.
