✨ About The Role
- Design and build systems for fraud detection and remediation while considering fraud loss, cost of implementation, and customer experience
- Collaborate with various teams including finance, security, product, research, and trust & safety operations to combat fraudulent and abusive actors on the platform
- Stay updated on the latest techniques and tools to proactively combat fraud and abuse
- Utilize advanced AI models like GPT-4 to enhance fraud and abuse detection effectiveness
- Work within the Fraud Engineering team to architect and build next-generation anti-fraud systems
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced software engineer with at least 5 years of backend and data systems experience, ideally with 2 years in fraud or abuse analysis
- Strong intuition for suggesting improvements in engineering positions and a desire to continuously learn and share knowledge with others
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes, able to add structure and order when necessary
- Familiarity with Machine Learning techniques is a plus but not required
- Ability to quickly pick up new tools and frameworks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
