- Responsible for optimizing hardware partners' platforms for OpenAI's workloads
- Evaluate potential partners' accelerators and platforms
- Build simulations and performance models to improve decision-making
- Understand and influence roadmaps for hardware partners for datacenter networks, racks, and buildings
- Role based in San Francisco, CA with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week

- Ideal candidate has at least 4 years of industry experience, including working with compute at scale or building semiconductors
- Strong bias towards action and problem-solving, with a proactive attitude
- Experience with hardware/software co-design and deep learning computing
- Strong desire to learn and share knowledge with others
- Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to rapidly changing conditions
