- This role will establish the digital marketing discipline at OpenAI, focusing on SEO, web experiments, A/B testing, CRO, and performance marketing.
- The candidate will design and drive a digital marketing strategy that spans B2C, B2B, and B2D go-to-market motions.
- Collaboration with Data Science, Product Growth, Web and Design teams, and the Marketing organization is essential to deliver results.
- The role involves scoping experiments, planning execution, and iterating based on results to improve customer navigation and decision-making.
- The candidate will be responsible for onboarding new vendors and agencies as needed to support marketing experiments.
- Transforming pilots into scaled programs based on learnings from experiments will be a key responsibility.
- The position is based in San Francisco and follows a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week.

- The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in Growth Marketing, Web optimization, SEO, CRO, or related fields, with at least 2 years in Digital Marketing leadership roles.
- A proven track record of building digital marketing programs from initial pilots to scaled teams is essential for success in this role.
- Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively articulate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- The candidate should be data-driven and analytical, with the ability to see the bigger picture beyond incremental A/B test results.
- Flexibility to adapt between consumer and B2B audiences is important for addressing diverse marketing needs.
