We are seeking a detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for building, testing, and deploying marketing and transactional email campaigns that engage our customers and drive measurable results. The ideal candidate is highly organized, understands email marketing best practices, and is comfortable working across teams to deliver flawless campaigns on time.

This role will support all OnePet brands, including Honest Paws, CertaPet, Total Vet, and others within the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Build and execute email campaigns in our Klaviyo, including newsletters, automated flows, and transactional communications.
• Familiarity with editing HTML pages — you don't need to know how to code an email from scratch, but basic is key.
• Perform quality assurance, including testing across devices, browsers, and email clients to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Manage campaign setup, including list segmentation, personalization, tagging, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with design, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure campaigns align with brand guidelines and objectives.
• Troubleshoot deliverability, rendering, or technical issues and recommend solutions.
• Maintain email best practices related to compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR), accessibility, and deliverability.
• Support ongoing optimization by tracking performance metrics (open rate, CTR, conversions) and suggesting improvements.
• Assist in managing the email production calendar and task management for each to meet deadlines for promotional, lifecycle, and triggered campaigns.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in email production, email marketing, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience working with the Klaviyo platform.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email coding.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
• Experience with task management tools (Clickup, Asana, etc.)
• Understanding of email compliance standards (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL).
• Experience with QA tools (e.g., Litmus, Email on Acid) a plus.
• Basic knowledge of segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content strategies.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
