Job Summary

Manages and oversees operational activities and aspects of processing plants, storage facilities, and/or pipelines.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Provide direction and support to employees managing operations and maintenance activities on pipeline, plant, and storage equipment.

Schedule and coordinate with company's commercial and business leaders to ensure efficient and profitable operations.

Review, approve and prioritize the installation and completion of plant improvements and/or modification projects.

Monitor and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Research, analyze, prepare, and monitor information including but not limited to:

  • Operation and maintenance expense and capital budgets
  • Measurement reports
  • Personnel requests
  • Authorizations for expense (AFE)
  • Plant production reports
  • Safety reports
  • Regulatory agency submittals
  • Contracts, agreements and purchase orders

Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.

Work Experience

Experience with operations and maintenance of processing plant, storage facility or pipeline activities.

Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers, and applicable software.

Experience and/or training related to:

  • Cryogenic process plants
  • Gas and liquid processing fundamentals
  • Underground storage
  • Safety policy and procedures
  • Emergency response procedures
  • Environmental compliance
  • Budget and cost accounting
  • Business communications

Experience reading and interpreting government regulations, legal documents, financial reports, and company policies and procedures.

Experience researching, analyzing, and preparing OSHA reports, budget reports, measurement documentation, balance reports, Authorization for expenses (AFE), plant production reports, Environmental agency submittals, contractual work orders, audit reports, and implementation plans.

Experience interacting and communicating effectively.

Experience leading, directing, training, and/or supervising.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of: applicable OSHA/PSM, Environmental regulations, and documentation requirements.

Ability to: basic math and algebraic formulas.

Ability to: communicate and/or exchange information or instructions.

Ability to: react and respond to emergency situations.

Ability to: operate office tools and equipment required.
