Summary:

The Sales Support Advisor will be responsible for assisting the assigned Producer with proper routing of day to day activity, customer support, building and maintaining relationships, and data management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collects, enters, and maintains accurate data in D365 for Producer as assigned.
  • Consistently utilizes "Activities" in D365.
  • Demonstrate effective phone skills in dealings with internal and external customers.
  • Effective delivery of the Digital value proposition to target audience through exceptional customer service.
  • Facilitate the introduction and transfer of new clients to Implementation Services and other dedicated service teams as needed.
  • Handle carrier implementation for high touch clients as needed.
  • Partner with our platform and HR Tech vendors to facilitate set up.
  • Provide customer support and/or direction of OneDigital support services to all newly acquired clients.
  • Gathering pertinent information to effectively assist in solving client issues.
  • Effective use of systems to communicate service issues with OneDigital support service.
  • Recognize the importance of client experience and work to build client satisfaction.
  • Thorough and accurate documentation of call volume, history, and outcomes.
  • Additional responsibilities assigned by management.
  • Displays leadership skills and is on track to grow within the company.
  • Train market specialists as to the underwriting process, carrier requirements and deadlines.
  • Mentor to team members; guides new team members through training and onboarding processes, provide constructive feedback and share best practices. Introduce new hires to internal systems, workflows, and team culture.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for questions or complex tasks.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability and desire to work in a high production, fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • High energy, enthusiastic individual.

Education, Training and Experience:

  • One to three years' experience in the health insurance industry, preferred;
  • Prior experience in broker agency or benefit administration firm, a plus;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products and systems;
  • Active life and health license, required;

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $20 to $23 per hour. Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
