Key Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt, accurate, courteous service to our clients.
• Process cancellations and endorsement requests on computer system, with insurance carriers, and in client's files per the request of client. Also new business and renewals when applicable.
• Create, type and send necessary correspondence to insurance companies and clients in order to update, obtain or verify necessary information to service all accounts.
• Review policies and endorsements on renewals for accuracy and relevance. Input data on the computer system and maintain electronic files for each account.
• Answer client's questions about their insurance coverages and needs.
• Answer insurance company underwriter's questions about client accounts.
• Process claims when applicable.
• Assist the Accounting Department in the reconciliation of client accounts.
• Keep informed about new coverages and products. All tasks should be handled in a manner that is in compliance with the Personal Lines Procedures.
• Continue to look for opportunities to make new sales and cross-sell when in contact with clients. Interface with the Personal Lines Team/Producer to develop personal lines sales.
• Enroll in certified insurance seminars to keep up to date on changes within the insurance industry.
• Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by Team/Branch Manager.
• Pursue a program of personal and professional development.

MUST HAVE:

• A high school diploma, two years of college or 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Ability to use office equipment such as computer terminals, calculators, copiers, fax machines.
• Word processing and typing skills.
• Strong respect for confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to understand and analyze personal lines coverages, forms and policies.
• Hold required and appropriate insurance license.

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $56000 to $60000 per year. Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
