Life And Health Sales Representative
We're seeking a Life And Health Sales Representative for our NEA team. In this role, you will be responsible for account review, telephone marketing and sales of insurance products to members. Meets established sales targets and other quality of business factors. Significantly contributes to business retention efforts.
Your Impact:
- Sells insurance products to prospective members by making and receiving telephone calls. Makes calls to existing members in an effort to upgrade and/or cross-sell additional products. Responsible for meeting individual sales and quality of business targets. Reviews and analyzes sales reports and other data to monitor progress towards stated goals. Provides input to management to help identify opportunities to improve sales.
- Calculates and presents quotes and writes insurance applications. Follows up regarding pending or incomplete transactions as needed.
- Participates in business retention activities as directed by management. Contacts current member to encourage reinstatement of insurance coverage and reduce termination rate.
- Keeps members informed about available products and services, pricing, and new insurance products and/or promotions.
- Tracks monthly sales
- Responds to member inquiries and resolves problems professionally, accurately and on a timely basis. Refers questions to an appropriate resource if unable to resolve problem.
- Maintains insurance product knowledge and selling techniques.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Working knowledge of common office productivity tools, including spreadsheet and word-processing applications.
- Insurance sales and/or telemarketing experience preferred.
- Current Life, Accident and Health license.

Pay Range: $17.30 - $17.30 Hourly
