The Director of Residential ABA Services is expected to provide leadership, guidance, direction, and supervision of residential ABA services. This role is responsible for program development, expansion, and innovation. The Director of Residential ABA Services will be responsible for working collaboratively with leadership groups (e.g., operational, medical, clinical) across the organization. This role is also expected to perform the duties of the PRTF-Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Translate and integrate current research and best-practices with residential ABA services.
Foster cross-departmental collaboration and integration initiatives with existing services.

Models and performs the duties of the PRTF-BCBA.
This position directly supervises Registered Behavior Technicians.
This position will occasionally provide supervision to ABA graduate student interns.

Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
Valid BCBA certification required within 6 months of employment.
Must have appropriate state licensure for KS within 6 months of employment.
Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders or relative developmental disabilities preferred.
1+ years of experience working with children in an educational or clinical environment preferred.
1+ years working with juvenile offenders and children in need of care is preferred, along with knowledge of residential programming.
Active in-network status with various private insurance panels in KS preferred.
Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Extensive problem solving exists in this position. Problem areas include but are not limited to: challenging behavior assessment and determining how to respond accordingly.
The hours of work in this position are considered to be normal work week hours with some variances. This position is required to work the designated, required hours generally between 7am-7pm, Monday through Saturday. The incumbent to this position must be flexible with the work schedule, and expect schedule changes as required by agency needs. This employee must professionally interact with various KidsTLC staff, grantors, funders, providers, and stakeholders as necessary.
