Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for greeting guests in our Collections gift shop. The Retail Sales Associate performs the role of a shopkeeper, presenting merchandise to customers, assisting with merchandise selection, and facilitating the sales transaction.

Comply at all times with Omni standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
Be thoroughly acquainted with all technical equipment to fully utilize its capabilities and extend efficient services to hotel guests.
Be thoroughly acquainted with all guest scenarios and utilize at all times.
Be actively involved in the sales process through the increase of personal sales per man-hour, total sales for Morsel's/Gift Shop and continuous increase in sales.
Ensure the delivery of all items called for from guest rooms by confirmation with guests.
Ensure that the lobby public areas are maintained, clean and tidy by liaison with Housekeeping Department.
Interact with other departments to ensure that guest needs are satisfied.
Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner, making them feel welcome.
Assist with monthly inventory.
Proactively work to seek out ways in which to improve the Morsel's/Gift Shop experience for our guests.
Maintain a flexible schedule at all times because the hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Adhere to all policies regarding employee purchases and Morsel's/Gift Shop employee purchases.
Follow proper procedures for all newspaper logs, receipts and returns.
Follow proper procedures for accepting credit card and checks.
Follow proper procedures for "holds".
Maintain a cash bank.
Do not leave merchandise unsecured.
Verify guest room number for room charges.
• Must have a flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must have at least one year of customer service experience.
• Must be able to bend, push, pull and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift at least 30lbs.
