We are looking for a sharp, driven Mechanical Engineering Summer Intern who wants more than a line on a resume. We are a high-technology company in Sanford, Florida that designs, builds, and supports advanced robotic interventional imaging systems used in cardiovascular and gastrointestinal surgical procedures. This paid role is ideal for a student who is already showing signs of becoming a serious engineer, not just in the classroom, but in how they think, what they build, and how they carry themselves.

What You Will Do

• Support the design and refinement of mechanical components and assemblies
• Clean up and improve new designs in SolidWorks
• Help create clear, accurate work instructions to support the repeatable, reliable assembly of complex mechanical systems
• Assist in organizing design details so assemblies can be built accurately, reliably, and consistently
• Contribute to a hands-on engineering environment focused on precision and continuous improvement
