✨ About The Role
- Responsible for designing, analyzing, and constructing buildings and structural components within the reactor, considering factors like irradiation, high temperatures, and other complex phenomena
- Design structural elements for buildings and large static structures, ensuring energy efficiency, feasibility of construction, building code requirements, and cost minimization
- Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, and operations teams to develop construction plans and blueprints
- Analyze structural elements to predict the impact of various loads and propose design changes as needed
- Document work using modern tools and techniques, and write technical reports to communicate findings and recommendations

- Experienced structural engineer with a background in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering, ideally with 5-8 years of relevant industry experience
- Passionate about clean energy and excited about contributing to the development of advanced fission technology
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly iterative startup environment where creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are valued
- Strong communicator with excellent writing skills to effectively convey technical concepts
