Field Service Representative – T700

Role Overview
As a Field Service Representative, you will provide technical expertise and support for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of turboshaft engines, including the T700 Turboshaft engine. This on-site role involves close collaboration with the customer to ensure optimal engine performance, reduce cost of ownership, and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret data and technical instructions for Intermediate and Operational levels of maintenance.
- Provide technical assistance in identifying and using special tools, engine maintenance, handling, and test equipment.
- Recommend, develop, and administer training programs to support maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
- Review reported malfunctions and assist with fault analysis and resolution.
- Support logistics tasks, including work scope reviews, maintenance scheduling, data recording, and hardware tracking/availability.
- Assist the customer with spare parts ordering, issue resolution, provisioning, and other business processes.
- Apply analytical tools to perform root cause analysis, issue resolution, and trend analysis.
- Demonstrate best practices for disassembling, repairing, and assembling engines and components.
- Serve as a liaison between the customer and GE factory personnel for maintenance, logistical, and operational tasks.
- Report field events clearly and concisely to GE Product Support Engineering (PSE).
- Proactively engage in activities aimed at reducing customer cost of ownership.
- Embrace GE's FLIGHT DECK operating model and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other tasks as requested by the on-site PBL Business Leader.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience in aircraft maintenance as a Field Service Representative.
- Minimum of 3 years of field maintenance, modification, and repair experience on turboshaft propulsion systems, preferably T700 Turboshaft engines.
- Pronounced compliance behavior for industrial safety and the ability to recognize and mitigate unsafe situations.

- Ability and willingness to relocate to domestic or international locations to support business needs.
- Strong customer interaction and communication skills.
- Proven analytical and quality improvement abilities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting, shop operations, and testing of assigned programs/hardware.
- Project management experience.

- Knowledge of the learning process and ability to transfer technical knowledge effectively.
- Ability to work independently without technical guidance.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
Additional Information
Must pass background checks and drug screenings. Physical requirements may include the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying environmental conditions. This role may require domestic and international travel. Compliance with all safety and operational standards is mandatory. The base pay range for this position is $93,800.00-130,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan.
