In this role you will lead the strategy, design, and delivery of the user interface and user experience across Teradata's digital products and platforms. You will be accountable for ensuring that every user interaction—whether through the Teradata Console or other product interfaces—reflects excellence, consistency, and the company's innovation-driven vision. You will shape the future of how customers engage with Teradata's technology, enabling intuitive, intelligent, and efficient user experiences powered by modern web technologies and AI-driven design. As the Senior Director of User Platforms, you will:

• Lead and inspire the Console team and UI Center of Excellence, fostering creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive the overall UI development strategy, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps, brand standards, and user-centric design principles.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering leaders to define and deliver world-class user experiences that enhance usability, engagement, and satisfaction.
• Establish development best practices and scalable frameworks for UI components across platforms.
• Apply foundational AI skills to explore and implement ways AI can enhance productivity, innovation, and impact across our workforce—leveraging AI to streamline design, accelerate coding, personalize experiences, and improve accessibility.
• Champion experimentation with AI-based design tools, intelligent user insights, and automation to advance how Teradata delivers value to customers.

A seamless, intelligent, and unified experience across all Teradata user interfaces—empowering customers to maximize the value of Teradata's technology while advancing the company's digital experience maturity and leadership in the age of AI. On our team, we design and deliver the digital experience foundation for Teradata's customers and internal users. The User Platforms organization brings together world-class UI engineers, designers, and product experts to create scalable, high-performance, and intuitive interfaces across our portfolio. This role reports to the SVP, Product Engineering, and works closely with:

• Product Management to align technical solutions with customer and business objectives.
• Engineering leaders to ensure architectural consistency and performance across platforms.
• Design and AI strategy teams to ensure Teradata's interfaces evolve with modern technologies and user expectations.

You'll collaborate with colleagues who share a commitment to leveraging AI responsibly—ensuring our people, customers, and partners benefit from the opportunities AI creates while maintaining trust, transparency, and usability. Pay Rate: 199500.0000 - 249400.0000 - 299300.0000 Annually Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on geographic location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and candidate experience. Sales roles will be eligible for commission payments tied to quota achievement. All other permanent roles will be eligible for one of our annual incentive plans, which are based on company financial attainment and individual performance.
