QA Engineer

Job Posting

Participates in architecture and software development activities.

Develops and executes manual and automated test plans for new and existing features.

Identifies defects and verifies fixes for production support issues.

Documents defects with clear and concise reproduction information.

Proactively contributes ideas for new features and identifying areas for improvement.

Collaborates with development, DevOps, program, and product team members to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions as well as reliable services.

Identifies opportunities to increase software quality.

Participates in bug life cycle management – defect tracking, defect reporting, defect analysis and defect verification.

Compensation: $45/hr to $50/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements:

• 60 semester hours toward a degree; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of experience in Information Technology for each year of the required education.
• 3+ years of QA experience
• Agile/Scrum Experience
• Experience using automated testing tools
• Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience
• Microsoft Azure DevOps, DevOps Testing Suite, Jira, Asana
• CI/CD experience working with DevOps engineers
• Strong troubleshooting/debugging experience
