Mobile Operations Technician

As a Mobile Operations Technician, you will work as a part of the mobility team fulfilling orders and managing inventory of corporate mobile devices with emphasis on iPhone/iPad activation, and inventory management. You must possess strong customer service and technical skills, as well as be capable of working in a team environment. You will process new device activations and deactivations, device support requests, and inventory management in a customer facing role. Responsibilities in this position will include:

  • Device provisioning and de-provisioning
  • Work with mobile carriers including AT&T, Verizon, and others
  • Mobile device inventory tracking and management
  • Mobile device troubleshooting
  • Mobile device shipping and receiving
  • Smart Device Deployment
  • Mobile Operations Project support

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for mobile device ordering and returns, provisioning issues, and carrier issues
  • Smart Device Deployment including process documentation for end user consumption, testing, and training
  • Manage mobile device inventory in ServiceNow
  • Manage mobile data. This includes cleanup efforts to reconcile ServiceNow, Pinnacle, and Carrier data
  • Provision and support non-smart devices such as cellphones, hotspots, satellite phones, or other mobile connectivity products
  • Support P66 mobility projects as required

Qualifications Required:

  • Customer facing experience supporting iPhones/iPads in a professional setting
  • Experience with carrier portals including AT&T and Verizon
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills are essential. Team player
  • Motivated individual with self-initiative to tackle challenging problems in operational roles with the desire to provide excellent customer service

Preferred:

  • 3 years experience supporting projects involving mobility systems
  • 3 years experience supporting various mobile devices and platforms, including smart phones, cell phones
  • 3 years experience supporting mobile carriers and extensive knowledge of their enterprise customer portals

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
