In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Support safety projects and manufacturing processes as directed
Maintain plant layout for machine moves and cost reduction efforts
Evaluate manufacturing and material handling processes for new parts
Support new part quoting activities & SAP routings
Conduct time studies of part's processes
Assist quality engineering with print tolerances & process capability studies
Assist in the research & development of capital projects & equipment
Support Quality, Maintenance and Lean operations problem solving activities
Frequently report verbally and in writing on project status
Other duties as assigned
Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar engineering discipline preferred from an ABET-accredited institution.
Software: AutoCAD, Solidworks, Solidedge, Creo Parametric, Microsoft suite
Strong mechanical aptitude. Desire to learn new skills and maintain knowledge of new technologies
Must be independent, self-motivated. Must have interpersonal skills in working with a variety of cross-functional teams
