System One is seeking a skilled I&E Engineer for an oil and gas client in the Tulsa area. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and have experience with process skids and OEM products. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining instrument data sheets, control narratives, and basis of design documentation. The engineer will also create data sheets for instrumentation and provide Input/Output (I/O) lists for clients. Additionally, they will review control systems for skid-based plants and heater projects, conduct factory acceptance tests, and specify control valves, shutdown valves, and instrumentation, including level, flow, and measurement devices. Familiarity with burner management systems (BMS) and adherence to industry standards are required. Strong technical skills in conduit, wiring, conduit fittings, and tubing/tube fittings are essential.
Qualifications include proven experience in the oil and gas sector, a strong technical background in instrumentation and control systems, and the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
