Assist in the installation, rearrangement, maintenance, operation, removal, and inspection of electrical transmission and distribution facilities. Drive and operate vehicles associated auxiliary equipment.

High School Diploma/GED
Work Experience Requirements:
Journeyman Lineman certification.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
Must possess and maintain a valid CDL A state driver's license.
Other Requirements:
Must have the ability to climb and work at heights. Must have the ability to communicate with employees, customers, and the general public in a courteous and proper manner. Must pass the AEP Pre-Assessment Evaluation.
Work Hours / Travel Requirements:
40 hours per week with overtime and travel as required. Must be available for overtime callout including weekends and holidays.

Compensation Range: $58.51-58.51 USD
The Physical Demand Level for this job is: H – Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
