Accounting Technician

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Reporting to the Manufacturing Finance Manager, you will be a key part of our plant's finance team, helping to ensure accurate and timely financial data. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a Fortune 200 company and grow your skills in corporate accounting and manufacturing finance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Manual Journal Entries.
• Prepare and reconcile accounts, including invoices, payments, and general ledger entries.
• Help gather data and prepare reports for budget tracking and forecasting.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Ensure compliance with all internal controls and accounting standards.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.

Minimum requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
• 1+ years of experience in an accounting or finance support role.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets, Google Slides and Microsoft Excel

Preferred skills and experiences:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Experience with SAP, Tableau, or other ERP/BI systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Experience with continuous improvement systems (Lean, Six Sigma, WCM)
