Role Overview

As an F110 Field Service Representative, you will provide technical direction and assistance to AMMROC depot and contractor personnel on the operation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of F110-GE-132 engines and interface systems for the F16 aircraft. This role requires working independently, remotely from headquarters, and traveling to both domestic and international locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide advice and direction to AMMROC depot and contractor personnel on the operation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of F110-GE-132 engines and interface systems.

- Interpret data and technical instructions for maintenance personnel.

- Deliver on-the-job training to maintenance personnel on techniques for adjustment, calibration, troubleshooting, bench checks, routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of GE engines.

- Provide guidance on the use of authorized GE special tools and test equipment.

- Identify training needs and recommend training programs for maintenance personnel.

- Emphasize safety precautions during training sessions.

- Assist customers with the installation of GE engine modifications and interpretation of technical instructions.

- Collate, analyze, and report in-service field data to GE Aviation Project Engineering for use in safety, reliability trending, and component improvement development.

- Support maintenance personnel in processing failure data and defect reports in accordance with standard customer reporting procedures.

- Relay relevant information to customers regarding field issues or improvements from GE or other international operators.

- Assist customer personnel in maintenance planning and forecasting, and provide liaison for processing components for repair or deeper maintenance.

- Analyze maintenance difficulties and advise customers on changes to maintenance, inspection, and training programs to improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

- Work independently, managing personal workload, travel, and budget with unyielding compliance and integrity.

- Travel to foreign and domestic locations as required to support customer needs.

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a field service/maintenance position).

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field service or maintenance position supporting military and/or commercial engine programs.

+ F110 depot-level engine experience.

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Service Management.

+ US Citizen.

+ Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.

+ Ability and willingness to travel as required.

+ Ability and willingness to relocate to domestic or international locations to support business needs.

+ Proven ability to work independently, without technical guidance, to perform all required work tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Strong customer interaction and communication skills.

+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

+ Proven analytical and quality improvement ability.

+ Demonstrated proficiency in repair troubleshooting, shop operations, and testing of assigned programs/hardware.

+ Ability to work with and make formal presentations to all levels of maintenance, engineering, and management.

+ Project management experience.

+ Demonstrated ability to lead and influence GE customers and peers.

+ Knowledge of the learning process and ability to transfer technical knowledge to less qualified personnel.

+ Ability to express thoughts clearly in both oral and written communications.

+ High degree of tact, diplomacy, and ability to work harmoniously with customer personnel.

Additional Information

+ Full-time position with a regular work schedule of 40 hours per week.

+ Background and drug screening required.

+ Ability and willingness to travel to domestic and international locations as required.

+ Work in a controlled environment with exposure to various materials.

The base pay range for this position is $93,800.00 - 135,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan.
