Engineering Internship - Fire Protection

Olsson provides engineering services for large commercial developments, hospitals, laboratories, school/university buildings, and military facilities. As a summer 2025 fire protection engineering student intern on our facilities engineering and design team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You'll work alongside experienced staff and engineers contributing to the design and implementation of fire protection systems that ensure safety and compliance. You'll use both Revit and AutoCAD to create construction documents and specifications.

You are passionate about working collaboratively with others, having ownership in the work you do, and using your talents to positively affect communities. You bring to the team strong communication skills, the ability to contribute and work well on a team, and a pursuit of a degree in fire protection and safety engineering technology or other related engineering degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. Experience with either Revit or AutoCAD is preferred, but not required. Strong attention to detail and strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are also required.

We are looking for one individual to work from either our Tulsa or North Kansas City locations.
