Therapeutic Behavioral Service Worker

Therapeutic Behavioral Service (TBS) Worker provides Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients, their families, and/or family members as needed. They will work with clients in community, school, and home settings to provide support – including education, consultation, linkage, and skill building – for the client, parents and/or caregivers, case coordination, and symptom management and monitoring.

Essential duties include:

  • Provide therapeutic behavioral services and documentation thereof, including but not limited to: treatment planning, support, including education and consultation for families regarding the client's mental illness, case management, symptom monitoring and self-management of symptoms, assistance in increasing social support skills and networks, referral and linkage to other healthcare, behavioral health care, and non-health care services, access to resources in the community, skills building, client transportation.
  • Report all incidents and documents the same day to Clinical Supervisor.
  • Provides required amount of delivery hours per week for this position.
  • Work a flexible work-week which can include evenings to meet clients and families' needs.
  • Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution and process discussions with clients on an assigned and an as needed basis.
  • Collaborate with other treatment team members regarding treatment planning, progress, and ongoing needs in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Attendance to staffing needs, as necessary for youth and family.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.

Other duties include:

  • Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.
  • Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.
  • Competency/Skills: Core Expertise, Independent Judgment, Cultural Competency, Interpersonal Communication, Professional & Ethical Conduct, Collaboration and Teamwork, Problem Solving & Decision Making, Service Orientation, Technical Proficiency.

Experience:

  • Experience working with children, adolescents and their families.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agency's insurance company. Must be approved by Bellefaire to transport clients in agency and/or own vehicle.

Benefits and Salary:

The annual salary range for this position is $38,000 - $45,000 per year depending on relevant education, experience and licensure. At Bellefaire, we prioritize our employees and their wellbeing.
