Technical Sales Engineer

We are seeking a driven Technical Sales Representative to expand our customer base and accelerate growth in the industrial automation and electrical controls market. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in PLC-based systems with the ability to craft and deliver effective sales strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop proposals, pricing models, and project scopes.
• Prospect, network, and execute outbound outreach to generate new customers.
• Conduct on-site evaluations to uncover opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
• Present complex technical concepts in a clear, compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Manage leads and track sales activities using CRM tools.
• Understand customer requirements across PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and electrical control systems.

Work Environment:

Primarily onsite, with remote flexibility available during travel. You will work directly with leading automation platforms while solving complex challenges for diverse industries. Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maumee, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.88/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
