Kennametal is seeking a Sr. Sales Engineer to support our partnerships with Machine Tool Builders to grow our metal cutting business in the Northcentral United States including focus in Chicago IL, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. This technical sales role provides the ability to see opportunity in challenges and creates solutions that provide a positive impact for our machine tool customers. The candidate will need to possess the ability to gain the trust and respect of customers by not only establishing the relationship, but by listening to their challenges, solving technical issues, and following through on commitments in a timely manner. This is a field sales role that is based in a home-office. Required travel approximately 50% to meet customer and financial goal demands.
Salary Range -$90,000 - $115,000 annually base salary plus bonus with target of 30% of base salary.
