Be part of the Child Protection Team in Ottawa County. Are you looking for an opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives? Ottawa County is seeking qualified individuals for a position in our Child Protective Services division. This individual will be part of a team whose goal is to ensure children are safe and well cared for. In this position, you would focus on recruiting licensing and maintaining kinship and foster homes, and work with children to prepare them for adulthood and/or adoption.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human service-related field; or bachelor's degree in any field and two years of experience in human service occupation; or associate degree in human service related field; or successful completion of Child Protective Service Fellowship; or five years of experience in human service related work. Note: a bachelor's degree in human service-related field is required within five years of hire date.
Pay range: $21.95 per hour entry wage, with additional pay supplements for job related bachelor's degree, upon completion of CORE child welfare training curriculum and upon completion of initial probationary period.
