Assure processes, equipment, fixture design, routings, programming, tooling, and standard work in support of production requirements. Plant processes include: Assembly Processes for Aircraft Brakes and Wheels, Machining, Anodize, Chemical Etch, Aluminum Conversion Coating, Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, Waste Water Treatment, and Shot Peen. This position will primarily support machining operations.
Continuously improve quality and productivity using the Ace Operating System for products and processes including compliance to these processes.
Identify and implement cost savings as related to direct and indirect labor savings, and expense account budgets.
Ability to lead activities related to compliance audits including AS9100, NADCAP, etc.
Provide technical support for serving as liaison between Value Streams, Quality Assurance, EH&S and Design Engineering.

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
3 or more years of experience in support of manufacturing operations with a focus on machining and problem solving.
3 or more years of project work implementing new equipment and technologies into a production environment.
7 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Development and presentation of project plans and justification to site leadership.
Can lead the introduction of a new product into production.
Has experience implementing transformational change.
Procurement and implementation of complex, large scale projects.
Machining support experience including:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with a continuous improvement philosophy.
Department/process layout & flow (Autocad)

Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
