What You Will Do

Executes processes, standards, and operational plans in support of procurement goals, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and/or program execution. Responsible for outside processing P.O. and flow of orders. Responsible for delivery assurance of material at suppliers. Communicates with cross-functional disciplines. Responds to internal and external customer issues or problems. Authorizes purchase orders and approves payments to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly. Analyzes and reviews price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices. Prepares and reviews request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages. Analyzes and monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Lead project team to successfully transition additional processes from internal to external, as requested by the business. Work cross functionally and leverage CORE principles to continuously improve existing processes. Provide project and material status updates to varying levels of site and business unit leadership. Travel 10% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience. 3 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience in government procurement. Experience in planning or operations in a manufacturing environment. Experience leading projects with cross-functional teams. SAP experience. Ability to analyze cost and pricing data and determine proposal compliance (FAR 15.4). Demonstrated knowledge/compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS). Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
