Regional Sales Manager

Wieland is hiring a Regional Sales Manager. The Regional Sales Manager will report to and partner directly with the Vice President, Commercial. They will oversee and manage all commercial aspects of the Wieland ForgeWorks business. This position will also be responsible for formulating and executing the strategic Go-To-Market strategy. They will assist with strategic business planning, market intelligence, and forecasting for the business unit. This includes developing the Go-To-Market strategy, budgeted sales volumes, margins, nurturing and expanding customer relationships, and driving key customer relations. They will also have responsibility for strategic account management and related sales activities for Brass Rod within the specified geographic region (FL, AL, NC, SC) providing excellence in sales and support to area customers with a strong emphasis on generating new leads for existing core products and newly developed specialty products.

This role is located in Montpelier, OH and will be fully remote.

Responsibilities

Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute Go-To-Market Strategy for the ForgeWorks business unit and the brass rod business in defined geography.
  • Execute and manage the national sales efforts.
  • Builds meaningful relationships and aligns resources to meet customer commitments.
  • Motivate and lead others with a target-oriented, and diplomatically assertive approach that aligns well with a collaborative and solution-driven culture.
  • Help develop and implement strategic plans to further ForgeWorks mission, promoting revenue, profitability, and sustainable growth.
  • Utilizes data-driven decision-making to assess market trends, identify expansion opportunities, and craft strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Proactively identifies and understands customer needs- business, technical, and social-and applies creative and analytical skills to develop effective solutions that enhance satisfaction and support business goals.
  • Assist with building and harnesses highly talented, diverse teams: coaches and develops others, understands team dynamics, and strengthens the overall capability of the organization.
  • Builds and sustains excellent relationships at multiple levels in the organization and with clients. Skilled in leading by example, fostering collaboration, and delivering compelling arguments to influence and engage others effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver strong business outcomes while managing multiple tasks, balancing the needs of diverse stakeholders, and addressing various interests effectively.
