The position is working onsite at our Troy, OH facility. Relocation assistance may be provided.

What You Will Do

  • Work within a cross functional team supporting the Quality organization by managing and driving to closure of their activities and schedules.
  • Improve processes and drive actions that come out of Continuous Improvement events.
  • Running and driving regular meetings with the Quality leadership to understand status and open issues.
  • Coordinate and oversee schedules to ensure on-time delivery of Quality deliverables.
  • Track deliverables and action items between Operations, Quality, and Engineering.
  • Create and maintain visual controls for management status meetings.
  • Support PPAP implementation & progression as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
  • 4 or more years of experience of Quality and Continuous Improvement tools.
  • Experience communicating and making presentations to senior level leadership.
  • 4 or more years of experience with RCCA's (Root Cause Corrective Actions).
  • Experience with FAI's

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working in a manufacturing organization.
  • Experience leading RCCA's.
  • Experience with AS9100 requirements.
  • Experience with SAP, CATIA etc.
  • Project Engineering background.
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing.
  • APQP experience (Advanced Product Quality Planning).
  • Certified in Lean manufacturing or Six-Sigma with demonstrated ability to establish and mature a CI/CORE culture.
  • Extensive knowledge of Machining processes.
  • Familiarity with CMM's, GD&T, and Engineering models.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
