Reimagine What's Possible We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Operations Technician to join our operations team in Cleveland, OH.
Our Cleveland site includes 3 Air Separation Units, a Liquefier, an Argon Purification Plant, and multiple pipeline delivery systems. The plant operator will be responsible for the day-to-day safe operation of the facility's operating equipment and production processes in compliance with all EH&S standards. While achieving a zero (0) lost time injury record, perform work duties in accordance with company quality systems, safety policies and site-specific procedures. You will also be responsible for monitoring daily production processes to ensure reliability, efficiency and productivity goals are met. This is a safety sensitive role.

A strong mechanical aptitude A strong commitment to safety, working as a team, and operational excellence. A self-starter with a strong work ethic. Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts. Ability to read and interpret piping schematics/ diagrams. Utilizing written procedures for starting and stopping equipment. Isolating systems for maintenance using work permits and lock out tag out process. Operating manual and pneumatic valves. Operating systems from remote location via Distributed Control System.
Monitor and adjust plant process conditions by adjusting valves, pumps, machinery, and electrical equipment. Maintain an electronic logbook of daily operational activities. Troubleshoot plant process conditions using various in-plant indications of plant performance and data displayed on a modern DCS/HMI computer system. Issue safety work permits and perform lock-out / tag-out procedures as necessary for maintenance activities. Oversee trailer loading operations. Inspect all work areas on a routine basis to identify any mechanical problems, safety hazards, or unusual operating conditions. Ensure that all plant safety procedures are followed. Attend and contribute to monthly safety meetings. Perform troubleshooting on equipment and make minor adjustments and/or submit work requests to maintenance as required. Assist in reviewing and updating operating procedures as required.
