General Laborer

1st shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm $18/hr

Job Description: As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for assembling custom window frames from start to finish. You will use tape measures and other measurement tools to ensure precision and perform quality checks on all completed windows. The role requires the use of table saws, various hand and power tools, as well as handling equipment to move windows weighing over 50 lbs throughout the facility. Additionally, you will assist with other general labor tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble custom window frames from start to finish.
• Utilize tape measure and other measurement tools to ensure parts are measured to specification.
• Perform quality checks on all completed windows.
• Use table saw and various hand and power tools such as table/trim saws, vertical/horizontal sanders, and air nailers.
• Operate carts and material handling equipment to move windows over 50 lbs throughout the facility.
• Conduct final quality checks on windows before they are prepped for shipment.
• Assist with other general labor tasks as required.

Essential Skills:

• At least one year of production/manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Capability to lift 50+ lbs throughout the shift.
• Attention to detail with a quality mindset.
• Ability to stand, bend, and work seated for the duration of the shift.
• Willingness to work with team members and complete job duties.
• Openness to working overtime and additional hours as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with grinding, grinders, hand tools, assembly, and power tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mansfield, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
